Sunday 23.05.2021

Summary

In the late 1930s and 1940s, Los Angeles became a hub for a diverse group of literary and musical talents, many of whom were refugees from Europe seeking to escape Hitler’s influence. They were drawn to LA not only for its distance from Europe, but also for its favorable climate and laid-back lifestyle. However, the primary attraction was the thriving film industry.
