How to watch

This lecture starts on 25 October at 5:00pm (UK).

Summary

Since the Renaissance, many artists have created beautiful and even palatial houses as showcases for their work. In some cases the houses themselves became the most potent expression of their ideas. Amongst the houses we shall look at are those of Rubens, William Morris, Lenbach, Stuck, Leighton, Sorolla, Carl Larsson, and Frida Kahlo.
