In this session, Dr Steven Lamm explores the growing health challenges affecting men today, the role of metabolic and hormonal health, and what can be done to improve health outcomes and quality of life.
Professor Dennis Goodman
Dennis Goodman MD, FACP, FACC, FCCP, ABIHM, is board certified Integrative cardiologist, Director of Integrative Medicine and Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Department of Cardiology and Preventative Medicine at NYU and Professor of Medicine at UCT, SA. He is board certified in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Lipidology, Critical Care, Interventional Cardiology, Cardiac CT Imaging, and Integrative Medicine. He graduated Cum Laude with distinction from the University of Cape Town Medical School in Cape Town, South Africa.
Dr. Goodman completed his Internal Medicine residency and was Chief Medical Resident at Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, and completed his cardiology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston TX. He is past Chief of Cardiology at Scripps Memorial in La Jolla, CA.
He is an international speaker and has been a visiting professor throughout South Africa, Asia, Israel and Europe.He has published many research articles in addition to many books on heart health, including Magnesium, Omega 3s and Vitamin K2. Dr Goodman teaches and conducts clinical research at New York University and NYU Langone Medical Center and is also a Talk show host on Sirius Dr Radio. He is founder of Preventative Medicine Lecture series at NYU. He has consistently been named as one of New York’s and USA Top Doctors.
Dr. Steven Lamm
Dr. Steven Lamm is a nationally recognized physician, medical educator, clinical researcher, and leading authority in men’s health. He serves as the Ronald & Susan Frankel Family Clinical Professor of Medicine and Medical Director of the Preston Robert Tisch Center for Men’s Health at NYU Langone Medical Center, where he has played a prominent role in advancing comprehensive, multidisciplinary approaches to men’s healthcare. As a practicing internist, Dr. Lamm brings extensive clinical experience and a commitment to preventive medicine, wellness, and the management of health conditions affecting men throughout the lifespan. His work emphasizes the importance of an integrated approach to men’s health, combining clinical care, research, education, and disease prevention.
Dr. Lamm is also an accomplished clinical researcher and bestselling author of seven books, contributing significantly to the growing field of men’s health. His most recent publication, Design and Implementation of the Modern Men’s Health Center: A Multidisciplinary Approach, co-authored with Dr. Joseph P. Alukal and Thomas J. Walsh, explores the development and implementation of modern, comprehensive men’s health programs.
Beyond his clinical and academic accomplishments, Dr. Lamm serves as an Honorary Police and Fire Surgeon, reflecting his longstanding commitment to supporting the health and well-being of public safety professionals. Dr. Lamm’s expertise and contributions to medicine have earned him longstanding recognition among his peers and the medical community.
