Where Is the World Today, and Where Tomorrow?

Monday 27.07.2026

How to watch

This lecture starts on 27 July at 5:00pm (UK).

Summary

Many commentators take a negative view, citing global environmental issues, newer and cheaper weapons of war, the decline in liberal democracy, the failings of international institutions and laws, the uncertainties surrounding the three superpowers, and more. But, are they right to be worried, or have we seen it all before?
