How to watch

This lecture starts on 25 September at 5:00pm (UK).

Summary

Although the Allies had attempted at Vienna to put the European clock back to pre-1789, they were challenged in 1820 and 1830 by radical and nationalistic forces. However, it was 1848 that presented the most serious challenge, in the so-called Year of Revolutions. A roller coaster lecture on the significant waves of revolution throughout European history.
