How to watch

This lecture starts on 8 February at 5:00pm (UK).

Summary

Composer Richard Rodgers (1902-1979) and lyricist Lorenz Hart (1895-1943) were a legendary songwriting team. Between 1919 and 1943 they wrote over 500 songs for more than 30 Broadway shows and Hollywood films. Many of their works are well known Great American Songbook “standards” that continue to be beloved and performed today. Please join Ron Bornstein as he, with a song in his heart, explores the words, music, and enduring appeal of Rodgers and Hart.
