1945-1947: The Survivors of the Holocaust and Zionism, Part 3

Thursday 25.07.2024

Summary

The horrors of the Holocaust did not subside with the liberation of the concentration camps. Survivors who attempted to return home, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe, learned their property had been stolen, faced horrifying antisemitism, and were frequently murdered. This lecture explores survivors’ attempts to flee to Palestine amidst the restrictive British mandate. Part 3 of 3.
