Professor David Peimer
Kubrick’s Satirical Masterpiece: Dr Strangelove

Saturday 2.03.2024

Summary

Dr Strangelove is one of the great movies of all time. It is more than a political satire or an artist’s view of the Cold War and the bomb. It speaks to our history and current fears about unpredictable political leadership and where it can lead us in our uncertain times. And it is done with the brilliant comedy of Stanley Kubrick, Peter Sellers and others.
