Jeremy Rosen
Manchester-born Jeremy Rosen was educated at Cambridge University England and Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem. He has practiced as an orthodox rabbi, as principal of Carmel College in the UK, and as professor at the Faculty for Comparative Religion in Antwerp, Belgium. He has written and lectured extensively in the UK and the US, where he now resides and was the rabbi of the Persian-Jewish community in Manhattan.
Well, April, I think the answer is that we have to decide what is true for us. Just as we Jews have to decide what’s true for us is not true for Hamas. Simple as that. Hamas believe theirs is the truth. We believe ours is the truth. And in the end people have to choose which one they prefer. Would you rather be in Hamas or would you rather be in Israel?
