The turn of every century enables historians to conduct an audit of a nation’s history. In 1900, the United States was still a young country; however, it was virtually unrecognisable from that of Colonial America. Like all nations, the U.S. carried baggage and unresolved questions forward from the previous century while simultaneously confronting new challenges.
William Tyler
William Tyler has spent his entire professional life in adult education, beginning at Kingsgate College in 1969. He has lectured widely for many public bodies, including the University of Cambridge and the WEA, in addition to speaking to many clubs and societies. In 2009, William was awarded the MBE for services to adult education, and he has previously been a scholar in residence at the London Jewish Cultural Centre.
He had the authority of American money and American arms is the truth. That’s and no, and Britain actually helped of course, some of those southern American countries to break free. And so America and Britain were not divided on that.
Well, the answer is in your question, Barry, because Americans had plenty of grass for cattle and they had plenty of land for tobacco.
