Richard Tauber
Summary
One of the most versatile and widely-loved of all tenors, Richard Tauber brought a personal touch to everything he sang from Mozart and Schubert to Franz Lehar and Cole Porter. As a refugee in Britain he repaid the hospitality of that country by singing almost every day of the Second World War.
