These three men, all of German Jewish birth, dominated their era. Einstein was arguably the most important scientist of the 20th century. Haber co-invented a process that could feed much of the world and worked on poison gas for the German army in World War I. Rathenau was one of the most important industrialists of his era. He was a writer, poet and later Foreign Minister in Weimar. This session will examine their interlinked lives.
